"If an officer illegally enters an Indiana home, the resident has no right to resist, the state supreme court there ruled Thursday, on the basis that allowing resistance would increase the risk of violent confrontation...

All these things always start in Indiana. LINK

As gas prices reach $4.29 in my midwestern hometown, I feel it a fine time to reflect on some often forgotten points concerning the price of gas and the state of the United States.
Unless I was taught lies in school, I seem to remember that oil, much like diamonds, is not rare or hard to find. The supply of both items is indeed plentiful, neither substances are rare.
I was taught that a "cartel" of people and interests were in charge of keeping the prices high, often through the use of regional and national price fixing, often through the use of force or intimidation.
Many countries that we purchase oil from are indeed dictatorships of one kind or another, despite our cry of "freedom" as Americans.
So all the while we pay huge amounts willingly, for substances that are not rare- in many cases to governments and countries that are openly hostile to our freedoms and way of life and beliefs.
All the while we are taught to worship and idolize the "free market" system, much like a fetish, when clearly the success of the manipulated and controlled "cartel" countries cannot be disputed.
After all, they're taking our money aren't they?

While our oil suppliers are rich, profitable and "protected" nations-
We in America are open, weak and becoming poorer and poorer.
Am I the only one who sees the irony here?

"Know these rights...
Number 3
You have the right to free
Speech as long as you're not
Dumb enough to actually try it."

Battery Powered "Lite-Brite" Holds City in Terror Grip!
"Peter Berdovsky, 27, of Arlington, was arrested on one felony charge of placing a hoax device and one charge of disorderly conduct, state Attorney General Martha Coakley said later Wednesday. He had been hired to place the devices, she said.
Highways, bridges and a section of the Charles River were shut down and bomb squads were sent in before authorities declared the devices were harmless."

For fucks sake, the crime should be not watching "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" in the first place!
As much as the televisions pundits will bitch about this, couldn't one motherfucker, just one, stand up and say "Duh- it looks like that bitchy little guy on ATHF! Maybe this is a publicity stunt..." BEFORE you shut the whole fucking city down?
I must be the only s.o.b over 40 who's hip to this show...

Edwards brings campaign launch tour to Des Moines
“That morality begins with Iraq, and it would be an enormous mistake to begin with the McCain doctrine,...It needs to be made clear that our troops are not going to stay in Iraq, and the best way to make that clear is to actually start leaving.”
